A coastal landscape was reproduced in the administrative building of the Nagasaki Prefectural Government Building using plants from Nagasaki Prefecture.
The model site was selected from the coastal front of the Osezaki Lighthouse to the forest on the Goto Islands. A vegetation survey was conducted in the field and a vegetation distribution map was created from aerial photographs to examine plant combinations.
Local vegetation units: Japanese Cycad – Hamabu Biwa community, Teriha noirobara – Miscanthus sinensis community, Chigaya – Hamagou community, Hosoba wadan – Botanboufu community, Saikaiyabumao community
