Refugia was selected for the set of the movie “The Botanical Garden” which was released on Saturday, 6/4/2016.
We did all the material procurement and planting of the wild plants in the movie.
We used Refugia to recreate the nature of the bank and the 30-year-old garden.
Local seeds and seedlings: Japanese butterbur, mugwort, Japanese knotweed, Japanese knotweed, Japanese knotweed, and others.
Local vegetation units: Chigaya awn community, Japanese white oak community
