A biological survey of the Kaibori area was conducted in conjunction with park renovation work. Six native species, including gibbuna, tamoroko, and motsugo, as well as American crayfish and Tairiku bara tanago, alien species for the prevention of ecological damage, and Kawamutsu, a domestic alien species, were identified.
