The “Former Hamarikyu Gardens Tide Inlet Pond Revetment” involved removing the existing revetment and restoring it based on a photo from the Taisho era.
The construction period was from November to March, during the cold winter months, and the work was very demanding as we had to enter the pond. The restoration work brought back to life a very atmospheric Taisho Era landscape.
