Grasslands, where many flowers and creatures color the four seasons, are the scenery most often recited in the Manyoshu (The Anthology of Myriad Leaves). At this site, based on the meadows that remain today, we have recreated the landscape of the meadows favored by the Manyoshu poets.
All of the plants planted are from the ancient lineage of the place where the campus is located.
Local seedlings: gentian, Japanese knotweed, chikara shiba, etc.
